Excellent product as per description. The Arduino configuration is strait forward. Small fix to do an future version of the Arduino board: give a little more room between the screw/post and the header. Also do not forget to by batteries like I did.

Pros: - Came in a well-packaged box. - Arrived sooner than expected. - The aluminum 3mm plate and the mountings are great. - Good encoders on the motor, 330 clicks per Rev. Highly responsive. Cons: - Do not expect troubleshooting help from the Seller. Haven't heard back for 5 days on replacements. - The Arduino Uno did not work. Power up but no COM. Tried different cables on different PC/laptops/RPi/Nano. Tried windows/ubuntu/Raspiban/Mate. No COM. - Heating issue with motor shield. A LOT. Perhaps drawing a lot of amps. Better use off-board drivers like LN28n to isolate your Uno. - PS2 controller did not work. I tried this on new Uno & Mega. Followed troubleshooting guidelines BillPorter and others. Nothing worked. This was huge time waste. - The motors are sturdy, but same duty cycle, 3 motors 230 rpm, one motor is at 176 rpm. PWM nonlinear. The robot goes off track. PID wont help. - The git hub repo not explained well.
